Win a Trip to Russia!

This marks the second time that the ATA is offering a region-wide Russian studies contest for high school students that are sophomores, juniors or seniors in a Capital Region.

The Russian Olympiad is a three-part competition held during the month of March 2013.  Registration takes place between February 15th and March 1st.

The program is modeled upon a highly successful contest created in 2012 by Professor Sergei Pukhanov of Tula State University. The students of Tula who won the 2010 American Olympiad traveled to Albany in the Spring of 2011 as their prize.

It takes some preparation and study to complete all three rounds but should you win, the land of caviar and blini, Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, Kremlins and Tsars, Sputnik and Migs, hockey and synchronized swimming, Matryoshka dolls and so much more await your visit.

Good luck!  NOW GO TO THE OLYMPIAD PAGE>>>
