Prepared an article for publication in a newsletter on ecology and health published by our colleagues in Tula.
Submitted a grant application to the Eurasian Foundation to help support initiatives regarding water sustainability in both regions.
CURRENT & PAST HIGHLIGHTS
Hosted five collaborative visits between both Albany and Tula scientists and policy makers to visit each other in their home cities and to lecture and discuss issues of mutual interest regarding human health and the environment.
Organized two video conferences between scientific experts in both Tula and Albany to present and discuss current research regarding air and water pollution.
Hosted a student intern from Tula who worked with scientists from Albany for six weeks regarding environmental health problems in Russia and the USA.
Offered two tuition-free online courses on environmental health and sustainability to approximately 50 students from Tula.
