COSMONAUTS TO ATTEND FUND-RAISER

 

The Albany-Tula Alliance is sponsoring a fund-raiser tonight at the Albany International Museum.

On hand will be Russian cosmonauts in town as part of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Space Week celebrations.

There will be a silent auction of children's art, and Sergey Sachkov, a children's book illustrator and member of the Tula Puppet Theater, will also be on hand and donate several pieces of original art work.

Cocktails will be at 6:30 p.m. on the third floor, with music provided by Findlay Cockrell. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. and catered by Glen Sanders Mansion, with after-dinner entertainment provided by the Russian folk group Yasnaya Polyana Balalaika Ensemble. Cost is $75.
